Conservation Volunteering Task
Sunday 17th February, 10am-3pm, Free

Volunteer with the Greensand Trust in Houghton Hall Park one Sunday a month! In February, the volunteers will be doing a thorough and satisfying cleanse of the park, removing any litter because it poses a threat to wildlife and spoils our enjoyment of the park.

Conservation volunteering Task

Volunteer with the Greensand Trust in Houghton Hall Park one Sunday a month! In March, the volunteers will be reducing the populations of Box, Snowberry, and self-set trees in the Western Woodland to increase light to the woodland floor and promote wildflowers. To join this activity, please contact

Heritage Society Spring Walk

Please join us for a slow to medium paced afternoon walk around Houghton Hall Park, whilst discovering the park’s rich heritage. The meeting point will be in the visitor centre. There is no booking required for this, just turn up and enjoy! If you have any questions, email [email protected].

Parkrun
Adult Run – Saturdays, 9am.  Junior Run – Sundays, 9am.  Free

 

Every Saturday morning at 9am, why not take part in a friendly 5k run or the 2k Junior Parkrun (4-14 year olds) at Houghton Hall Park? It’s completely free to take part but please register before your first run, you only ever have to register with parkrun once! Don’t forget to bring a printed copy of your barcode. Join in whatever your pace, everyone runs for their own enjoyment. It is entirely organised by volunteers so please email [email protected] to volunteer your help. Every week we grab a post parkrun coffee at the visitor centre, please do come and join us!
