The Mall Luton’s Brave Challenge Raises Thousands For East Anglian Air Ambulance
East Anglian Air Ambulance have been handed a cheque for over £3,600 this week, thanks to staff at The Mall, Luton taking on a charity challenge.
In March, a team from Mall management and security took on the Only The Brave Challenge, raising a huge £3696.63.
12 staff members battled the elements and twenty obstacles across five muddy miles to raise the cash for their chosen charity of the year, thanks to kind donations from suppliers , colleagues and friends.
Lavinia Douglass, Marketing Manager at The Mall, Luton, said “We’re thrilled to have raised so much for East Anglian Air Ambulance through our Only The Brave challenge. A huge thanks to everyone who sponsored and supported us for such a fantastic cause.”
The grand total goes towards The Mall’s fundraising target for EAAA during 2016 of £10,000, which they also raised in 2015. East Anglian Air Ambulance provides helicopter emergency medical services to Norfolk, Suffolk, Cambridgeshire and Bedfordshire 365 days a year. EAAA need over £8.5m each year to provide the services, with 16,000 lifesaving missions since their launch in 2000.
