Buying A Used Car Check List In Bedfordshire

Buying a used car? Make sure you know what you’re looking for…
Buying a car, new or second hand, is always an exciting investment but it goes without saying that tests and inspections should be carried out before you part with your hard earned cash. It is especially important when buying a used car, particularly if you are buying from a private seller.

The good news is Central Bedfordshire Council have teamed up with Central Bedfordshire College motoring students to produce a video tutorial giving some tips on what to look out for and some simple checks you can do yourself. The video covers important checks such as looking for rust, checking oil levels, finding bumps and dents, checking brakes and gears as well as basic electric and tyre checks. The checks are all simple and can be done by anyone regardless of mechanical experience.
